Welcome to the Scrapheap homepage of "In A Spin", a team of self employed  Domestic Appliance Engineers from Peterborough, England.

We competed in the second series of Scrapheap Challenge, firstly doing the Flying Machines, and then the Mileage Marathon.

The team consists of Rob Pincham, (team captain), Trevor Smith, and Sean Lord.
        Rob had in fact auditioned for the original pilot programme, but didn't make it onto the first series. When he saw the advert re-appear in Motor Cycle News, he got in touch with RDF and put the team together.
        We all got to know each other through the trade, and through endless hours of drinking coffee at the local wholesaler, trying to put off going to the next job!

        We were also into kart racing, and had formed an endurance racing team along with the lad that introduced the to the endurance scene, Richard Gilbert. Trev and Rob  also play in a rock covers band called Hooker.
